Where can I find this Simplex Fire Alarm?
Okay, since around April, before I was banned from YouTube(By my parental authority, I was banned from YouTube…), I saw a clip about a Simplex Fire Alarm with a Bell and Strobe light combination. I’ve seen these types of alarms, but I can’t find the bell and strobe combo alarm. Please help! eBay doesn’t show the alarm I want! …And I don’t want any da** answers please. Sorry for saying the cuss word…

Seems everyone is convinced that you meant a horn/strobe combo. While that is indeed more of the industry standard, there are in fact bell/strobe units available. Since you did say "bell" I will assume you meant a bell.

I estimate the real question is what in the world do you want it for?
If you want one I may possibly get you a price. I am gonna place an educated estimate and say that you are looking at about $100 for this piece of equipment. Keep in mind, you will need a power supply for 24VDC, unless you want a 110Volt model. I am sure someone makes one somewhere.
(Some of Simplex’s alarm equipment is private labeled stuff anyway, meaning it’s made by someone else.)

We usually refer to these as horn strobes. They can come with an electromechanical bell, a horn, or a device that generates the signal one wishes. You will find that they come standard with the word FIRE on the surface, but ca n be obtained with other wording.

it is a commercial item which it takes expensive equipment to run. you will be able to buy this from an electrical contractor in your area.
what you are looking for is called a horn/strobe. Simplex is simply a brand of fire alarm, mostly use in commercial applications. They are used for whole building fire alarms and connect to what are called horn circuits, which set off the horns and or strobes when the alarm is triggered. ADA now requires strobes as well as horns to be used to accomodate the hearing impaired.They are also required now to be in sync with one a further to prevent siezures. And also there are alot of fire alarm companies who manufacture horn/strobes.
It should also be noted that they work off of reverse polarity circuits, meaning that in normal operation (no alarm) the voltage polarity flows one way, and due to diodes inside the device, when the polarity changes, the alarm sounds. Oh, and strobes take more energy(amps) than the horns.
It should further be noted that you probably won’t find simplex alarms on ebay. The best you can do is to find a fire alarm dealer in your area and hope that they are a licenced simplex dealer. Or break in a warehouse and rip one off the wall and try not to get caught! Just kidding, DON’T do that.

I bought a 120VAC horn strobe on Ebay. It is designed to be used with a relay for an interconnected residential system.
It is loud and bright, perfect for my hard of hearing.

A company named Wheelock makes this unit. It is really 2 devices, a strobe on a plate called an RSSP and a bell which can be a 43T for AC or MDB for DC.
Basically anyone with a credit card can buy this stuff from an alarm distribution company, nationwide it would be ADI which stands for Ademco Distribution which is owned by Honeywell, or now that you have this info you can go back to ebay
