whats the best way to make my hard wired fire alarm not work?
Hey I delight in the smell of incense but i don’t want my fire alarm going off, it is hard wired so I cant disable it or take out the batteries. Is there something that i can cover it with so that it wont react to smoke?

Mine are hard wired too and I just pull it off the celing. There should be a 3 wired connector going into the back of the detector that unplugs.
if your incense are setting off the smoke detectors you are using to much. or possibly a fan under the detector pointing to the largest most open area of the room.
try a shower cap and a rubber band,don’t not remember to take it off.
