What to do about smoke detector in apartment building which is wired into the fire alarm?
I can’t cook without dread that the alarm will go off and the fire department will show up. I can’t remove the smoke detector. It is not battery operated and it is hardwired into the emergency alarm system. Can I cover it up with something?
