System Test
A test of my fire alarm system, which is installed in my bedroom. Yes, I have a fire alarm system installed in my bedroom, and it is powered up 24/7… BTW: I’m sure you know how a strobe truely flashes. The reason why it flashes the way it does in the video is because the affect the camera has on it, meaning the flashes is nearer than the camera can record it, so you don’t really see it flash, you get the reminants of the initial flash… *ALSO: this alarm sounding was for fun and was in …

if you place your volume so loud everyone is going to be so loud
Well, jjinc24, you have to reset the pull first, cause if you reset the system with the pull still activated, it will go back in alarm.
He used the audio clip. But at the end, the pull reset sound is different lol.
work for simplex? cuz im only 15. i have this conundrum everywhere i want to get a job…ugh
Why can’t you?
i wish i may possibly
Ah, I see.
That’s because it’s the same kind.
The click from the pull as you pull it sounds EXACTLY like the pull click in NewAgeServerAlarm’s video opener.
IDK. So long as you reset the pull before resetting the alarm system, it doesn’t matter.
Why did you reset the pull first?
its a pull rank but im gonna get the FL-BG12 which is a firelite pull statrion which is the one shown in the third related video
What’s an ESL RJRMS-1T-KL?
Hey im new to the fire alarm world so I have some questions. 1) I have a wheelock MT-24-IS and IM getting a ESL RJRMS-1T-KL. How would I hook It to and should I use a transformer if so what kind. Thanks. P.S. Nice video!
No this is an american fire panel. It is made by Simplex Grinnell, and I reckon it has four zones.
I’m getting a 4001.
it take extremely small force to pull these alarms and it just happens with alarm collectors. It’s kind of natural.
Why do you glide your fingers over the handle before pulling it down? Is it to position it to get a firm grip?
very cool
what do you mean a drill while sleeping? Wouldn’t he have to sound it himself?
whoa, all my lessons have those on the wall, minus the strobe, but get this, they have 2 Simplex 40xx horns, one of them is a 4040 and I belive the other is a 4050, plus some horn that looked like a bell, infact it was right next one.
That would annoy my parents like no tomorrow.
*claps* nice video!
The guy who had the key for the panel didn’t know how to shut it off though, and trust me, when you have been listening to an 80db horn/strobe for over 15 minutes, you’ll want to shut it of your self!
if that system was not yours you shud not tuch it! let the people who know how to work the alarm turn it off and i am not tiresome to be meen it is gust to let you know.
