System Test 19
I FINALLY had a moment alone to test my newest system installation, and as you can see, as usual, all works well. The SpectrAlert is even in sync w/ the MIZ!

Thats a voice evac messgage, and those are recordings.
Well, thats what there supposed to do.If they werent, they wouldnt be fire alarms.
Cool. You are fool lol. I play a bari sax.
trumpet fool lol
What do you play?
I can’t get that high on my clarinet. lol
when it goes off in our band, i usually blast nearly the same note as the fire alarm and freak everyone out lol
Wow, man. When they go off when we’re playing in band, everyone just stops playing. lol
the only thing that i really dont like about fire alarms is that they’re loud and scare the fuck outta you. i remember in orchestra class, we had just started playing a section of a piece and the alarm went off on beat 3 of the second measure. the student instructor and everyone else in the room jumped, they were so startled.
horn
My school is like that but without the speaka nd we have the same looking ones except a speak is connected to them. A guy speaks to us too. Hes all like their is a fire in the building please exit, etc.
That is the one we have at school. It is SO loud!
That’s my baby Spectralert!
Simplex T-Bar And Simplex 4001 I Reckon.
what pull rank and panel?
lol i finaly got around to replying lol
no conundrum
I reckon we have the same one in our residence, possibly not that model but it makes that tone
after a small bit it really sounds like a spectralert
it sounds like a truealert
willbill – Have you portained the 3.4 MIX Darton?
Right
That is because with the “screechy” sounding tones (like the Spectra in Electromech. or the MIZ-24-S) power is not continuously applied. I haven’t checked this scheme, but I reckon that power is switched on and off very quickly to give it a rougher sound.
Also, the non-codeable MIZ-24 uses the same exact horn as the MIZ-24-S, but my scheme is an explanation of how they sound different.
Well I have a PA400W and it doesnt sound like the MIZ yet its the same exact horn lol
Yep! That same horn is shared by System Sensor smokes, SpectrAlerts and PA400s. Wheelock also uses it for the MIZ, and it can be found in all BRK and First Alert smoke alarms. That’s because the horn is made by a company that distributes it to these specific companies.
Really?
