“New” System Test 2
Basically the same as the first one. I just got a better shot of me pulling it, and more panel views. Plus, I got the conduit I needed to place between the horn and the strobe, so there NO wires exposed anymore (except of course inside the panel). *As usual, this alarm sounding was for fun and was in my house. This system is not connected to a monitoring center and thus, no fake alarms were reported and no crimes were committed. NEVER do this in a public building, unless there’s an actual fire emergency…

Over here at my school, we have a panel that activates it in the main doors of the school.
Well, not all alarms reset like that – some hare hex-key reset. And some that are similiar to this pull don’t have the handle pop back up by itself – you have to place it back up yourself.
So that is how Fire Alarms are reset when they are pulled. Thanks for showing me.
Possibly any building that’s being torn down or built. Or, possibly if one is getting an alarm system upgrade. But I didn’t get any of the stuff you see locally – I got it all online (eBay).

Well, I even said it was in my room. Plus, at the end, it even says, “NEVER do this in a public building, unless there’s an actual fire emergency…”
Tim from SchuminWeb here…you mention in your description that, “no fake alarms were reported and no crimes were committed.” but that is kind of misleading. A fire alarm system doesn’t have to be connected to a monitoring rank for it to be considered a crime. Since this is panel is for “entertainment and education purposes” only, it’s alright–but that is the distingiusihing thing–not the “local” alarm nature of it.
