is it true that deodorant can set off a fire alarm?
iv heard that if you spray a certain type of deodorant it can set of a fire alarm does anyone know if this is right?

i expect there is truth in that smoke detectors work on the principle that if carbon gets between the sens-er, and blocks the beam it goes off so it’d probably do it with deodorant but you’d have to srpray it right into the detector,the reason smoke does it simpler is because the carbon in it adsorbs the low grade radiation that makes the detector work
