		<description>Most smoke alarms that I&#039;m familiar with will not go off from the smoke generated by incense.    Now maybe if you burn a half-dozen sticks at once it might, but one stick at a time shouldn&#039;t create enough combustion products to trigger the alarm.</description>

		<description>I think you can get away with it safely.  Hope your neighbors don&#039;t complain.  I suggest you try using scented candles as they don&#039;t produce smoke like incense.</description>
