fire alarm system test 1
It’s been a while sense I made my last system video, so here’s my latest set up. This set up is temporary do to a actual instal plotted once I get some components in i’m waiting on. What I have hooked up are my Siemen’s U-NH-MCS (set at 110cd), Simplex 4251-20 T-bar, and BRK 2824 photo smoke. NOTE: Sorry I didn’t sound the horn on the U-NH-MCS, it was late, and my neighbors would not of appreicated it too much if I did. My g/f did get woken up by the strobe, as a strobe 110cd+ is designed to do….

Well, the 4100 has been discontinued by Simplex. Whatever thing above the Simplex 4010 requires special programming software which you cannot get online.
A excellent panel for a simplex pull is basically whatever thing. You need some wire, signals, pull rank and a panel.

The NS is an audible signal which is kind of the predecessor to the AS. The NS has a deeper tone than the AS.
I have a question.. whats the NS do? I do not know much bout fire alarms just police fire and ambo sirens and im getting kinda bored with that…is there some1 that may possibly help me with fire alarms possibly a website or sumthing. thank you so much

I reckon I accidently deleted the last comment on strobe lifespan. my terrible. According to the manual the U-NH-MCS’ “adapter” (multi cd) strobe uses “a Xenon flashtube with solid disorder circutry enclosed in a harsh Polycarbonate lens to provide maximum visability and reliability for effective visible signaling”. This will give you thousands of hours of use. As long as you don’t constantly run the strobe day in and day out, you’ll get many being of operation out of the strobe.
